STREET ART
MAP GHENT
INFO

SORRY, NOT SORRY or 192 days of street art in Ghent was a successful street art trail in 2015-2016, organised by the CIRCA Culture Department. To allow visitors to enjoy the works after the event, we have put them on the map together with existing works.

The artistic value of graffiti and street art as an art form is increasingly being recognised. In fact, the CIRCA Culture Department is developing its own graffiti policy in partnership with the Eco-Werkhuis. Since 2002, the graffiti team of Eco-Werkhuis has been actively working on graffiti and street art in Ghent. It organises an annual graffiti jam, supports individual graffiti artists, starts up its own projects and provides advice. In addition, a removal team is responsible for the daily removal of any unwanted graffiti, tags and stickers free of charge in Ghent.

You can find more information about street art at the CIRCA Culture Department, Eco-Werkhuis and Graffiti vzw. You can browse through Graffiti vzw’s extensive library at Dampoortstraat 84. It regularly organises talks, study days, exhibitions and similar events.
